I’m a white man from the US. I grew up listening to reggae and ska. I got into learning about Rastafarian beliefs and the history. We all have African ancestors if you go far back enough so we’re all one.

The macho gay scene of the skin head/hooligan football firms of the 80s. Basically they’d chant how they were so well endowed that they’d hospitalise their ‘lover’ - hence they called it the “f*cking” ambulance.

Brilliant!!!!!!. I'm 51 and grew up when all this stuff was going on. Every time i watch stuff like this, i'm just so grateful to have been brought up by parents who held no prejudice against anyone, My mum and dad are gone now but ill always be grateful for that And I taught my kids the same.

Great film, We had no skins where i grew up it was multi culturel even in the 70's and 80's. It was reggae music all that i had.

This was insanely good. The acting was incredible and it talks about one of the biggest parts of British culture that doesn't get talked about.

There is no colour in music; making it the most poignant time to put away your differences and just listen, politics put aside, as nothing else matters but the rhythm and vibes, this is one thing that actually unites people. Tell me if you think I'm wrong ......................

This needs a part 2 I wanna find out what happened to that young brother and he had learning problems also one of the skinhead actors was in another movie like this called This is England but sad thing is these NF skinheads are still around today behaving like that and worse even if you don’t hear about them as much now I seen one fighting with a bus driver about wearing a mask during the pandemic the driver who was white was telling the guy he needed to wear it and the guy kicked up hell in the end he was put off the bus and he was still ranting on and yelling how he hoped we’d all get covid and die what a jerk

So, any way of getting a few more episodes? This was pretty good stuff!

We were younger London teenage casuals..Not sure it was about a Jamacian influence or going out dancing ..For us it was simply a smart-casual brand name culture (with a slight nod to the Mod era)..It was also heavily entertwined with football terrace culture

I grew up during these times - having to be aware of the NF and Skinheads. Makes me even more sick when I see black boys who see themselves as the enemy.
